The Lady Says No

1951

Frank Ross
Director
Ross-Stillman Productions Inc.
Production Company

Mildly militant feminist author is tamed by traditionalist photographer.

Vanity piece for director Frank Ross to show off his then wife Joan Caulfield. She's pretty good, but the plot mechanics and comedy are inferior and the whole embarrassing for a modern audience.

Interesting to see James Robertson Justice in an American production sporting a pseudo-Irish accent.
