The Saint in London

1939

John Paddy Carstairs
Director
RKO Radio Pictures
Studio

The Saint gets involved with a currency fraud scheme, complicated by a young lady fan who wants to help.

Probably the best of the RKO series, with a capable British supporting cast. One might almost see this as a very early dress rehearsal for the 1960s TV series, especially given Carstairs directed two episodes.
