Steptoe And Son Ride Again

1973

Peter Sykes
Director
Associated London Films
Production Company

A penniless rag and bone man is conned by a local loan shark into investing the last of his money in a no-good greyhound. With the dog unable to win any races, and consumed by fear of not being able to pay back the debt, he entices his elderly father into faking his death in order to claim on an insurance policy.
Half-decent British comedy, the second (and last) feature length movie based on the popular tv series.
