Youth on Parole

1937

Phil Rosen
Director

Framed for a smash-and-grab they didn't commit, two young people attempt to assimilate into society.

Rather sweet look at a more serious problem, although tainted by the conceit that the protagonists are innocent. The leads are good, but the film rather dull - it's in public domain for a reason.
