A Chump At Oxford

1939

The penultimate Hal Roach-made movie starring Laurel & Hardy, where they travel to Oxford, England to attend college to improve their education. When there, Stan is remembered as a Lord Paddington, a genius who used to run the place. Naturally, Ollie thinks this is complete nonesense, that is until one day Stan receives a bump on the head. Most people will probably remember this film as the one where the boys get lost in a hedge maze.
The first part of the movie is a re-working of an earlier silent short in 1928, From Soup To Nuts.

Followed by Saps At Sea (1940).
