Deathstalker has to rescue a bitchy princess from an overacting wizard so her people can find a new homeland with a magic crystal doorknob.

I don't care what anyone says--I unironically enjoy this film. Then again, I also enjoy paying eight bucks for a beer at the Renaissance Fair. . . Terri Treas and whoever is dubbing Aaron Hernan's wizard are the best thing in this film, which revels in its cheapness (that's not a bad thing).

In the MST3K version of this one, Mike Nelson remarks "This is one of the most ambitiously bad movies we have ever done." And that pretty much sums it up, in a good way.
