A scientist is sent to a Cornish island to file a report on a recent oil tanker spill. However, he discovers increased aggression in the villagers who are mutating. It turns out that chemical dumping in the nearby waters is responsible, infecting the islanders when they tuck into their fish and chips.

A good movie based on the early 70s BBC TV series despite the action being given to a new 'leading' character and the regulars getting sidelined. The message is as strong today as it was back then.

Thanks to Tigon Man for the Jim Brady and Fred Wood shots!
