(as Pennington Richards)

First broadcast on ATV London 21 September 1958.

Brady is sent by military intelligence to rescue a wounded spy in a Middle Eastern nation. Meanwhile his captors prepare to make the spy talk by any means possible.

Quite a good episode, and interesting to see as a precursor to Danger Man. Surprisingly brutal for a TV show of this era, with an almost cartoonishly evil Benson threatening to burn Corri's face with a cigarette, etc. Equally surprising is a rather subdued performance from Pohlmann! Seeing Peter Sallis in brownface is a bit disheartening, though.
