James Cameron extends his vision of the series with advanced technology (the liquid CG effect shots are incredible for 1991) and a villain (career-promoting performance from Robert Patrick) so intense that it makes you forget how 'rubbish' the original is by comparison. The sequel, twelve years later, dropped Linda Hamilton (probably due to Cameron's divorce from her) and subsequently the film failed to live up to expectation. Many fans agree T2 (as it is affectionately known) is the best movie sequel ever made.
Several versions of the movie have been released on VHS, DVD and BluRay: what you want is the BluRay Skynet Edition - nothing else will do.
