Realising the owner is away they are quickly forced into a situation where they pose as owner, butler and maid (Laurel being the latter two) to a newlywed couple who have turned up at the front door looking to rent the property.
It may be due to the misleading title of this feature that so many people misquote Hardy's famous line of There's another nice mess you've gotten me into.
