A Christmas Story

All a kid named Ralphie in 1940 Indiana wants for Christmas is an official Red Ryder BB-gun with a compass in the stock and this thing that tells time. I don't think I really need to say anything else about this movie, given it's deserved place in the Christmas film pantheon. A wonderful slice of nostalgia and a great film, though that aura has been slightly lessened in recent years by constant TV airings and far too many crappy leg lamp holiday ornaments.Be sure to drink your Ovaltine!

(I am still missing taste buds from foolishly attempting to emulate a certain scene in this film, so I would advise to not let life imitate art).
