| Laurel and Hardy in their third full length feature film find themselves having to live as bandits in order to survive after they are robbed of their life savings. Naturally, they choose their victims poorly and incur the wrath of the notorious Fra Diavolo, a feared villain who then entrusts them as his personal servants as punishment. Some good laughs are mingled within the plod-along storyline; most memorably Stan's display of 'kneesy-earsy-nosey' outside a tavern which gets both Ollie and the tavern owner at it.
The duo don't show up until after 8½ minutes.
