The Draughtsman's Contract

17th Century England. A lady engages a draughtsman to render several drawings of her husband's estate while said husband is away. The terms of the artist's contract include more than monetary reward.

Lurking beneath all the trappings lies a murder mystery which you might not even notice on first viewing. Definitely not for everyone and guaranteed to bore/annoy many (Director Alan Parker for one). This author loves every piece of overripe dialogue, every frame and every bar of music.
