Insignificance

1985

Nicolas Roeg
Director

A fictional night in the life of an Actress, a professor, a ballplayer and a senator - who have a passing resemblance to Marilyn Monroe, Albert Einstein, Joe Di Maggio and Joe McCarthy respectively.

The least cinematic of Roeg's films this decidedly offbeat film has some great moments i.e. Marilyn explaining relativity to Einstein to make it fascinating.
