Loki and Thor find they have a sister who has been locked away by Odin, their father. She escapes. Big problem.

The usually tired superhero film plot, super-villain aided by faceless hordes bent on world(s) domination, is served up with a side of cheerful comedy which elevates this one above its peers.

I chortled my way through this one. Props to director Taika Waititi who voices the rock monster thing in amusing fashion.
