Honeymooning couple at Niagara Falls cross paths with a bickering couple and murder.
Pretty good suspense film that probably wouldn’t be much remembered today if it weren't for Marilyn. She's OK, but Cotten and Peters carry this one. Too many odd things keep it from being great, mainly Casey Adam's condescending putz of a husband (who could believe a babe like Jean Peters would be married to this yuk-yuking schmuck?), but also the weird and really unnecessary appearance of Don Wilson and his wife, which definitely breaks the atmosphere. Add in the travelogue-like feel and scenic filler, and you have a perfectly competent, but not excellent film.
So we have Don Wilson making a rare film appearance, and Cotten is building a model of a Maxwell. Did Jack Benny finance this film?
